Ok So from what i can tell, mages do the most damage as arcane and show the ability to do exceptionally well in single target as well as multiple targets. from what i can tell based on the dmg i do now is they usually pull 25-30k crits on average with arcane blast.

To use these rotations you will need:
Glyph of Howling Blast
Glyph of Disease
3 points in the Annihilation Talent in the Frost Tree
3 Points in the Morbidity Talent in the Unholy Tree.

My Rotations

Single target:
Icy Touch**
Plague Strike**
Pestilence
Obliterate
Blood Strike

This is the rotation I've always used for single target tanking. Obliterate does more damage than Howling Blast so its better for single targets. After the first Pestilence switch Icy Touch and Plague Strike for another Obliterate. Death Strike is alright instead of Obliterate if you're taking ridiculous damage, but Obliterate will hold better threat. Also Death and Decay is not needed, since your Obliterate and diseases will be more than sufficient to hold its attention. I tank ICC bosses with this rotation. If you find that you cannot keep threat like this, switch Obliterate for another Icy Touch Plague/Strike combo. I choose not to since Icy Touch is like a taunt now a days (Hence why it opens my rotation). And that's single target kids. Now on to...

Multi Target:
Death and Decay
Howling Blast
Blood Boil

Yes. Drop Death and Decay, and then spam Howling Blast and Blood Boil. With the Glyph of Howling Blast we discussed earlier Howling Blast puts Frost Fever on your target, increasing Blood Boils damage. And with this rotation as soon as your initial runes refresh so does Death and Decay as long as you have those three points in Morbidity. So it never ends. Death and Decay, Howling Blast, Blood Boil, repeat. Spam Rune Strike WHENEVER it pops and you're laughing.

Tips
Spam Rune Strike.

With DnD remember to place it where you'll be fighting the mobs. With Death Grip you have an INSANE amount of control over where you hold the mobs. Also with Strangulate and Mind Freeze if you cant Death Grip a caster, you can silence them long enough to bring them to you.

Cooldowns should be used as needed. Use Icebound Fortitude if you're taking too much damage. Use Unbreakable Armor if you pulled too many mobs. Lichborne, if you specced into it BREAKS fear. And Army of the Dead Use as a tank ONLY IF YOU HAVE NO HEALS. The whole reason I use AOTD as a tank is if I need zombies to get 1shotted so I don't die.

We cleared Arachnid and Plague quarters last night. Took down patchwerk in Construct as well before logging. Pretty successful night A2. I'm proud of you guys. The rest of the week looks like this:

Anyone at 80 wanting to raid and able to make raid times should reply to this post, regardless of your gear . Please attach your availibility dates aswell as your class, spec, and gear status. We plan to create rosters wether or not the entire group is geared up enough . Once a group is established it will be the responcibilty of the rest of that group, to get thier fellow members ready for launch . If you feel you are already geared to raid then send in-game notification to Alixandra or myself, and you WILL be assigned a raid group .
